Our Ministry StaffThe preaching of weekend retreats is the heart and core of ministry at St. Paul of the Cross Passionist Retreat and Conference Center. It is the foundational ministry to the Center and has continued and expanded for more than 65 years. The members and diversity of our Retreat Team have also developed over the years and is now composed of men and women who bring a variety of perspectives on the retreat theme and the Gospel message. This approach enables retreatants, who come from various backgrounds, to relate to presenters with whom they may personally identify.
Our team members include Passionist priests from Holy Cross Province, a Dominican Sister of Adrian and a married lay women with advanced degrees in theology, who participates on women's weekends. Each Team member is qualified to preach conferences, preside at liturgical services and conduct individual pastoral counseling.
Experience has proven over the years that this Team approach to weekend retreats has responded most fully to the spiritual needs and expectations of those who come to St. Paul's to be refreshed in the grace and presence of God.
